Non 12 step rehabs are the latest advancement in the treatment of alcohol and substance abuse. Most offer various alternatives to the old Alcoholics Anonymous 12 step model which offers people choices. Since the success rate for people who attend a drug rehab program today is low. Part of the reason the success rate is so low is most rehabs put all their emphasis and the 12 step program of AA and or Narcotics Anonymous.
