The bottom line about Alcohol Detox

Almost 60 years ago, a doctor by the name of Silkworth made an amazing discovery. In a word, he found out that unless or until all the alcohol was completely out of a drinker’s body, it would  be very difficult for a heavy drinker to quit drinking. As long as there is alcohol in the body, the body is going through withdrawal, which causes craving for more alcohol. The process of alcohol detox needs to be done under medical supervision, not only because it will much more comfortable, it can be fatal, that’s right. A detoxing person can go into a severe reaction to withdrawal, known as the DT’s. And once that happens, there is a 33% chance they will die. So, the bottom line is, would you rather go into a detox facility or would you rather die?
